Join the ECECD’s Home Visiting team from Friday, May 12, 2023 – Friday, June 16, 2023, for free community Baby Showers across the State!
Are you expecting, or have a newborn baby at home?
The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) Home Visiting program is excited to host a community baby shower in your area. Register to receive a diaper bag (two styles to choose from) filled with baby items, including bibs, onesies, a baby safety care set, receiving blanket, and more! Children are welcome to attend.
Live demonstrations include: Safe Sleep, car seat safety, and breastfeeding benefits!
Canopy wagon!
Enroll for Home Visiting services, and participate in a demonstration during a Baby Shower event to receive a free canopy wagon!
What is Home Visiting?
Home visiting is a relationship-based program for families who are pregnant or have children under age five. It is free for all New Mexico families regardless of income. Home visitors come to see you in the convenience of your home or via remote telehealth sessions. From tips to help your baby sleep safely, to breastfeeding and nutrition support, to your self care, finding child care, preparing for school, and more. You don’t have to do it alone!

How to attend?
Registering will secure your spot and your free diaper bag! Below you will find a registration link for each Baby Shower location. You must be present to receive your free gift. Spots are limited.
